Mag+ App Spotlight: K Composite

K Composite Magazine is a publication of interviews with everyday people. The periodical launched in the 1990’s when Scott Ritcher began to interview his friends. The ipad publication, created with Mag+ publishers software, investigates the lives of normal citizens with the same detail and attention that is normally reserved for celebrities. In each interview,KComposite-iPad-cover-made-with-magplus the individual is photographed and asked detailed questions about their lives, hopes, and fears. From there K Composite designs a beautiful experience that is available on the iPad.

The Courier – Journal says, “K Composite is a sly concept where normal citizens are raised to the level of celebrity, while simultaneously, the notion of celebrity is deflated because only normal citizens are interviewed.”

In the nineteenth issue of K Composite Magazine, Linnea Mahlen discusses graphic design, tulips and long-distance relationships. K Composite Magazine uses Mag+ tools to create a smooth and engaging user experience. The iPad magazine starts with a striking cover shot of Linnea. As the user scrolls through, the interview is revealed in a scrolling A-Layer overlaying high definition images. Flexible layouts and innovative design make this a beautiful reading experience.

The K Composite iPad app and all iPad issues are free to users at the iTunes store. Click here to download K Composite Magazine today.
