Zlatan’s iPad app is here

Great news for those of you who love football (or soccer, if that’s your preferred name for this sport) in general and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in particular: Zlatan’s autobiography “I am Zlatan” is now available in English. And it’s not in the form of a traditional book, Zlatan and publisher Bonnier, take a bold step into digital publishing. The autobiography is released as an iPad app, the first of its kind. It’s based on your favorite tablet publishing platform Mag+ and features immersive content like video and images integrated with the text, as well as reading the story along either geographical or chronological interactive story lines.

"I am Zlatan", Zlatan Ibrahimovic's digitally published autobiography

The man himself says that he wants to tell his story, and let fans understand where he comes from. Doing it with an app is a great way, as it allows the history to be experienced on a new level.

If you have read the original book (“Jag är Zlatan” or “Io Ibra”) and would like to compare reading the digital edition on your iPad, we have three apps to give away. All you have to do in exchange is to write a short comparison between the experiences of reading the old school book and the digital edition. Simply comment below, we’ll pick three recipients of the app.

Would love to be able to take a look at the digital edition. Reading about the Maradona style goal or how he studied some Ronaldo’s moves could only be complimented with video. We all have “scenes” in our heads but over time those memories aren’t as precise as we may think they are. Reading about a great sports moment is one thing…being able to read about a moment and then having the ability to see that moment in time is truly amazing. Great work Mag+ and Bonnier!!
