Semble went on the road on June 14, with our trusty product manager Niklas Hägerklo. Not too far, just over to Masterclassing NYC…Niklas spoke in the Mobile & App Marketing Masterclass, which showed show senior management and technical leads how they can deploy the latest mobile marketing tools and techniques to generate new business and retain loyal customers across all customer touchpoints.

Core themes discussed ranged from transactional mobile apps and tablet strategies to mobile sites, mobile CRM and mobile advertising. Niklas showed off Semble, designed to make creating a mobile app simple, with no need for coding.

The audience was really engaged, and people loved the idea that anyone in the company can build an app simply and easily. Even some companies who have design teams were glad to see the simplicity offered by mag+ and Semble. While showing them the basics of how Semble works,  and how you can make your own app easily, Niklas also pointed out some helpful facts:

Did you know that:

  • The App market is growing–and surpassed Desktops in 2014?
  • Tablet sales are stagnant?
  • 80 percent of internet users own a smartphone, and some say that smartphone usage is killing the tablet?
  • According to recent research by Localytics, a mag+ partner on the Designd platform, push notification increases app engagement by 88 percent?

The Semble discussions got very specific after the general talk. You don’t need to wait for a Masterclass to talk to us. Do you have questions about Semble or what kinds of apps would do well on the platform? Drop us a line at
